We don’t nickel and dime. Accidents happen. Broken sockets happen. That’s normal. We simply ask everyone to treat the equipment like it’s their own.
A temporary card authorization is placed at check-in to cover missing tools or damage caused by obvious misuse (for example, using a ratchet as a hammer or a screwdriver as a pry bar). Normal wear from proper use isn’t a problem.
